Honolulu, Hawaii

If I could describe Teresa and Aaron, I would say three words:

- Lovebirds
- Committed
- Goofy

Aaron, a super kind and really funny guy who get’s down to business, especially dressed to the nines in his Army swag. He is a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army, and a freaking stud.

Teresa, is the social butterfly, with a laugh that makes everything better and a smile that can change your life.

I first met Aaron when he showed up at my house to tell me how he was gonna propose and had a step by step powerpoint on all the exact details, with maps, pictures, and distance measurements from point-to-point. Here’s their PROPOSAL (vimeo.com/15915922). After the proposal, they said: “You will be shooting our wedding, definitely,” and at the time I said yes, later finding out it was going to be in Hawaii, to which I exploded with anticipation and excitement.

The wedding day was flawless with a beautiful church, tons of wonderful people, and super sick reception at the Hickham Airforce Base on Pearl Harbor. I admire all the hard work that the two put into this wedding while being either long-distance while Aaron was training and Teresa traveling between the mainland states and the island.

I haven’t EVER been able to shoot a couple hanging out with Submarines, Airplanes, Battleships just chillin in the background — That was pretty epic.

Had my lovely and beautiful assistant Emily Wilson accompany me all the way to Hawaii and I thank her millions for all her help and patience with my crazy shooting antics.

The whole trip was fantastic, from hanging on the beach with the two, going to Waimea Bay & jumping off the cliffs, and hanging around Waikiki with the newlyweds the day after their wedding.

Another favorite part was hanging with my new friends Tracy, Emma, and Jesse of Tracy Dodson Photog (tracydodsonphotography.com) who made the whole day even more fun, and the collab turned out SO GOOD… checkout the delicious photos @ tracydodsonphotography.com/2011/10/hawaii-wedding-photographer-aaron_06.html and see everything not in this film.

Showtime DJ’s (showtimedjshawaii.com or facebook.com/pages/Showtime-Djs-Entertainment-Hawaii/280959148598373) freaking rocked the dance floor with their choreo’ed dances of Thriller and another tune. This was a hoot.
