Richard contacted me in early June to see if I was free to shoot his wedding, but told me it would be a surprise to his wife Ahyoung, and of course I was down — I love surprises. 

We showed up early in the limo at Ahyoung’s house and she was baffled, for she had no idea we were coming, and the limo was part of the surprise too! We went to the Hair Day salon (thehairday.com) where all the makeup and hair was done so glamorously, and then to the venue for the first look, which was pretty cute I have to say. The rest of the day was a blast hanging out with Ahyoung and Richard on such a happy day, so joyous. 

It was a gorgeous wedding up in Pasadena at the Ambassador Campus, from ceremony to the cocktail hour as the sun set and then followed an awesome reception with lights strung overhead. The dance floor was bumping of course, so we liked that too. I really enjoyed working with my awesome 2nd cine - Trevor Smith, who gave me some great shots to work with throughout the whole day.
