First of all, I knew Lake Tahoe would quickly become one of my favorite places in all of California — even before arriving there. 

This film was produced solely for the Hyatt, as a promotional video to show off the Resort as a one of a kind venue for weddings. The goal was to capture both the behind the scenes work at the resort and the personalities of the couple and their bridal party.

This was by far one of my favorite wedding shoots of all time, purely for the fact that the whole wedding experience was more than just the wedding day: bridal prep, ceremony, reception. But also, our crew was able to film the guys going golfing, the bride getting a wonderful salon treatment, hiking near and far to get all the establishing shots, composing the shots for what ended up being gorgeous time lapses, and shooting behind the scenes of the amazing Hyatt Regency staff. 

Thank you Ian Pratt for taking the epic journey to Tahoe with me I am so pumped we got to work together, and thanks for giving me some great footage. 

Chris and Deanna, you two are beautiful and such a real inspiration for all those around you. You connected so many people in a beautiful celebration, and it was a joy to be a part of your wedding week :) I like being able to share in the joy of you guys being together.

Enjoyeth. I know I loved this wedding :)

What a delight this shoot was. From beginning to end, EVERYTHING was perfect & beautiful. The rustic forest feel of the ceremony, to the string lights and DIY style deco of the reception was fab. 

I love these two, and they love Jesus with all of their hearts, and shooting weddings for my brother and sisters in Christ is one of the best blessings as a wedding Cinematographer. Their wedding gave COMPLETE glory to Jesus, and it was so evident that God blessed their relationship, and will continue to pour out His love on their marriage. 

Ben Winchell came to shoot with me on this one, and I can say, freaking STUD gave me EPIC detail shots, and was right by my side the whole day to make everything easier, funnier, and better. Thanks Ben!

PHOTOG LOVE: it’s not often I shoot with a photog more than once, but its starting to happen with my FAVORITE photog: PAUL VON RIETER (paulvonrieter.com) who I have definitely modeled a lot of of my post-processing after. Dani and Sam are great. They decided it would be a good idea to bring back into style the same day edit. Well, it’s been a while and I was stoked at the idea of it, but maybe just a little bit nervous, because it is quite the task! 

Danoosh: This is like a movie, “My Big Fat Persian Wedding”

I love Persian weddings, and this was my first, and hope not last. I absolutely enjoyed the whole day. We started out in the ceremony/reception halls where all the prep was going on, and everything was intricate and beautifully designed. Loved spending time with Danoosh and Sam, and also all of their family and friends.
